Titalyt
Illustrating a turning point within the firm’s identity, the Richard Mille RM 016 introduces a new rectangular-shaped case moving away from motor sport and sailing.
Unveiled in 2009, the RM 016 Titalyt has a grade 5 titnaium casing treated with Titalyt, a first in watchmaking. The treatment process used electro galvanic oxidation which hardens the material surface and improves its resistance to wear and tear, scratches and corrosion.
Requiring countless hours of research and development, the present timepiece was engineered with the aim of being as thin as possible.
Through its slim design, the present timepiece will suit the lifestyle of enthusiasts of the Richard Mille brand, while conveying subtleness and elegance.
