Inspired by Formula 1 racing, the RM 008 is one of the most complicated wristwatches that Richard Mille has ever made in its early era. 5 years worth of engineering calculations were required before the new split second movements for the RM 008 even reached the prototype stage of development. It then took a further 8 months to assemble the first watch, and only a very limited 10 pieces can be produced each year.

RM 008 comprises of over 500 parts, and the split second chronograph function is highly desirable among racing enthusiasts. With a torque indicator that supplies information of the mainspring, it allows the optimization of the chronometric functioning of the movement.

The RM 008 All Grey Edition is a limited edition of only 10 pieces.
