The RM 021 Tourbillon Aerodyne is the first watch created with a baseplate of titanium and orthorhombic titanium aluminide with a carbon nanofibre core.
Orthorhombic titanium aluminide is a groundbreaking alloy and a material utilised by NASA in the manufacture of supersonic airplane wings. In a honeycome structure, the alloys presents incomparable rigidity, and has exceptional resistance to corrosion.
This extraordinary timepiece first entered the Richard Mille collection in 2009.
