FLEUR Tourbillon
The RM 19-02 Tourbillon Fleur is the only Flying Tourbillon in the RM collection, and it is truly a marvel to behold. Presented at the SIHH in 2015, this timepiece epitomises the tradition of horological artistry in a vibrant expression of watchmaking distinctive to Richard Mille’s vision of timekeeping in the 21st century.
The Magnolia flower located at the lower left of the dial will slowly open and close every 5 minutes. It works automatically, and also manually on demand by engaging the pusher mechanism at 9 o’clock.
The flying tourbillon will move upwards 1mm when the Manolia fully opened, preciously mimicking the natural arching motion of a flower’s stamen.
The RM 19-02 Tourbillon Fleur is limited to only 30 unique pieces worldwide.
